Born and bred in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA, Vance Fite’s musical career was actually sparked out of tragedy. Left unable to walk for half a year after shattering his leg in a skating accident, Vance decided to pick up the guitar in the corner of his room that, up until this point, had been a gift collecting dust for the past two years. At the time, Vance had no idea how drastically that accident would change the trajectory of his life. Over the course of that 6 months, he fell in love with playing music, inspiring him to start his first band as soon as he could walk again, all at the ripe age of 14.
Growing up in such an eclectic city, Vance learned to draw inspiration from all kinds of music from pop punk to hip hop to oldies, gravitating more towards songs that tell stories you can connect with and hooks you can’t help but sing, more than a particular genre.
Later Vance spent years as a touring musician, where he really learned to craft his ability to win a crowd, playing with many artists and opening for the likes of Questlove, Ying Yang Twins, Hot Chelle Rae, Yelawolf, Wynonna Judd, The Civil Wars, Augustana and Manchester Orchestra.
Now at the prime age of 27, Vance has released his debut record 'Hey Girl Hey’ and follow up single ‘Abigail’, completely independently and is bringing his nonstop energy shows full of infectious pop melodies to a city near you.
